I'm not a fan of this genre. I don't care for many of the cozy mystery where a girl works in an antique or book store. She usually works for an older lady who either goes missing or is accused of something. A "hot" but judgey copy/handy-man accuses heroine of being a thief, extortionist, murderer, child kidnapper and puppy kicker. They flirt but then he insults her again and repeat insults. She discovers she has magical powers then murder is solved in the last five pages. The boss goes home and doesn't give the girl a raise. If the book is meant to be a series she might flirt with another hunk but if it is a one-off she gets together with the cop.
