I enjoyed this book immensely. I could easily see myself growing up in the Aconeligh family and being bullied by the other kids.
We'd all fit right in with them.
My own family loves our pets as deeply as poor Linda and her attempted suicide over her beloved lab.
I think Nancy Mitford wrote the most realistic book about love to relate to my own life. They fell in love with the idea of people who never lived up to their expectations.
It doesn't really matter in the end if you "wasted" your time liking the wrong guy for you.
